The suspension that propels you

Much experimentation has gone into the design of this link geometry, some ask why so tall. All we can tell you is that it makes you go "Up" rocks, without causing unwanted effects on the vehicle. It’s the "No Band Aid" design, and the most stable platform ever built for a lifted vehicle.

Currently only availabe for 79'-95" model year frames, how ever we do support 3 different rear axle housings.
Stock Mini Truck (IFS version only)
FJ80 Offset rear
Diamond 8"

List Price $700
optional truss $75 (IFS housings only)

You can buy it here.  http://www.4wheelunderground.com/4-Link-Systems.html

Decided to get a measurement for those that are interested in the 4Link but haven't quit pulled the trigger.

The frame side bracket backing plate measures 25"s long from tip to tip.

New Rear 4Link Tower

While this has been available for a while now, we've always seemed to miss our opportunities to take a photo of our FJ80 rear tower. So here it is. If you're thinking about going a different route than the standard 8" center but were unsure before. Perhaps this will help you decide.

Has anybody ever run the 4WU 4Link in the rear with a Total Chaos Long Travel front end?

Anybody done a rear 4 link on a first gen runner with the shocks mounted on top of the axle and thru the floor? Does it inboard the shocks too much? I want to keep an f150 tank in the rear.

yes I know of one personally. I'll try to find pictures for you. But the long and short of it is that the frame is a major problem and needs to be notched fully for coilovers to mount out side of the frame. And mounting inside the frame is typically something we don't like to see because it makes for addition body lean.  The further out towards the wheels the shocks are mounted the better.

Since we are talking about fuel tanks....
If I were to order a fuel cell for the rear, what size would be ideal to give enough clearance for the 4WU coilover kit? How many inches from the frame rail needs to be kept clear for access and function of the CO?
