New guy from Houston
« on: August 10, 2016, 08:59:01 PM »
I finally decided to join this board. I'm on a few of them under the same username.
(Marlin, Pirate, TTORA, RST, TX4x4)
I have a fairly built 85 Xtra Cab. The time has come to start thinking about Linking the front. I figured this board should have some pretty good insight.

Here is how it looked before I tore it down for the axle swap.
22re R151, Dual Ultimates, 5.29s, Detroits, 37s, hydro assist....

Phase II

D60/14B 5.38s, 40's

A little nosedive by me

Ol Red and his buddy the Dirt Squirrel

RTI still had a little to go

The truck did pretty well but that wasn't good enough..

Brings me pretty much up to its current status.
Except...
I'm swapping in an A340F, a RAD Designs trans Baja controller and Rock shifter, PSC Full Hydro and an Atlas II 4.3...

I really want to go with The 4WU 3-link but haven't seen it done with an Atlas thrown in the mix coupled with Full Hydro Steering.

What type of clearance issues should I be on the lookout for?

When I finally get the Atlas in, I can take some measurements and pictures to show where things are lining up.
